The company was established by the transformation of PATP s.r.o., established on 28 February 1992, into a joint-stock company ELDAT on 31 January 1995. The company is founded by a group of engineers with experience in designing electrical equipment, measurement and control systems, and control systems.
We focus primarily on engineering and supply activities in the field of high-current electrical equipment and measurement and regulation, the creation of basic process control and control systems (PLC) and operational control levels (HMI) and information technology in the field of manufacturing information systems (MES).
The main areas of activity of our company are mainly metallurgy, blast furnaces and industrial furnaces, coking, chemical industry, ecology, transport and weighing systems, energy aggregates, natural gas processing and distribution, water management, food industry and many other industries.
Our company has employees in the field of engineering activities, design of electrical equipment, in the field of programming of process control systems and information technologies and in the field of construction implementation.
For our work we use the most modern technical means and system software for comprehensive coverage of high requirements for modern automation of production processes.
We also have technical know-how in special areas of qualified methods of digital control, identification of controlled systems, dynamic optimization of control circuit settings and reduction of energy intensity of thermal-temperature processes with the application of static and dynamic control models.
We operate in the premises of the BKB Metal a.s. on Hlubinská street 917/20 in Moravská Ostrava.

We usually process studies in several variants, differing according to requirements in scope, technical means and financial demands. The studies are prepared in cooperation with external specialists from technology companies, universities, research institutes and are confronted with practice.
DESIGN DOCUMENTATION
We process project documentation of partial solutions and operational files of large-scale constructions in coordination with the construction and technological professions. The documentation contains specific technical solutions, is elaborated into the details necessary for the production of assembly units, for the assembly and commissioning of the entire set of equipment. The documentation is processed with the support of CAD software (EPLAN) designed for electrical engineering. This ensures high quality documentation and enables the transfer of project documents and final projects both in the classic design and in the form of data in one of the standard formats.
TECHNICAL SUPPLIES
The offer of control systems of major companies is balanced in terms of quality and the choice of control system is always influenced primarily by maintaining integrity with the control systems already implemented at the customer and, last but not least, the price of the proposed solution. We are ready to solve technical and program control systems from small machines to large-scale decentralized control systems in the field of data collection, logic control, regulation and optimization of technological processes. We mainly use control systems from Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider and SAIA.
SYSTEM EQUIPMENT
The software is processed on the basis of long-term experience with applications in the field of logic control and digital control. Analysts and programmers, knowledgeable in technology management and monitoring, in cooperation with the customer, propose the use of optimal methods of algorithmization and control system interaction with the operator. The variability of software tools allows you to make changes at any time according to customer requirements, or to obtain information to evaluate the quality of technological process management.
COMMUNICATION WITH OPERATORS
We propose the use of systems from simple line terminals to powerful computers with monitors in industrial design, equipped with state-of-the-art software with functions for operating the alarm system, historical trends, reception management and statistical processing of ongoing processes. We design information systems based on Wonderware, Control Web and PROMOTIC products in the Microsoft Windows operating environment.
DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY
Already in the project phase, the range of components needed for the implementation of the work is optimized. The aspects of security of supply, environment, durability, reliability and pricing possibilities of the customer are taken into account. We provide delivery and installation in cooperation with partner companies. It goes without saying that the course of assembly is adapted to the concurrence of work in related professions, even during operation or during short-term outages.
COMMISSIONING AND ADJUSTMENTS
In the implementation phase of the work, the functionality of electrical connections, setting of measuring circuits and tests are performed in connection with technological equipment. Commissioning is completed by performing comprehensive tests, which verify the functionality of the work. The optimization of the adjustment of individual circuits is performed even after the end of the test operation in relation to the operational experience and knowledge.
CLIENT TRAINING
The training is an integral part of the final phase of the work. It includes the elaboration of operating instructions and acquaintance with the accepted principles of control and communication between the operator and the control system. Operational maintenance staff are also trained.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE
Warranty periods are usually provided for a period of 24 months. The high quality of the supplied components, devices and computer control systems allows, in cooperation with partner organizations, to guarantee service interventions, usually within 24 – 48 hours of reporting the failure. We contractually provide preventive periodic inspections, diagnostics, adjustment and calibration, if the customer is interested in these services. For the prepared control systems, we provide remote service of PLC and HMI programs via the Internet, or via GSM and ISDN.

- For our customers, we realize complex deliveries of control and management systems of technological processes with an emphasis on fully automatic control ensuring compliance with technological discipline in production and minimization of energy consumption. Detailed diagnostics of fault conditions, with precise determination of time and place of occurrence, will ensure customer downtime. Such a solution, in conjunction with warranty and post-warranty service activities, helps to create mutual trust and respect between the customer and our company.
- Independence from a specific supplier of technical equipment allows us to design a reliable, modern and open (easily expandable in the future) technical solution for the customer, ideally suited for managing the technology with emphasis on respecting customer practices and minimizing overall operating costs. To ensure solutions at the latest technological level, we constantly monitor the technical and quality level of our suppliers’ products and equipment and their technological development presented at trainings, conferences and seminars. We also regularly evaluate our suppliers in terms of business conditions, quality of deliveries, meeting deadlines, level of negotiations and quality system.
